Swimming has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have competed at a high level Nationally, throughout my swimming career and representing both Greece and England at numerous competitions, including European Championships.
I am incredibly proud to have been part of numerous relay teams with my Teddington teammates, having achieved seven World Records, as well as several European and British records in relay events for Masters category.
Alongside my competitive swimming, I have a real passion for teaching and helping others develop their swimming skills, whatever their age, stage, experience or ability. Having taught for 20 years, I particularly enjoy working with children with special educational needs and disabilities, as I fi nd it incredibly rewarding to see their confi dence grow, overcome challenges and make progress in the water.
I pay particular attention to technique and effi ciency, as I strongly believe in quality over quantity. For me, swimming is not just about completing lengths — it is about learning to move effi ciently, developing good habits and building confi dence in the water. Most importantly, I want my swimmers to have fun, enjoy their lessons and feel proud of their progress.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my two cheeky boys and eating chocolate when they have gone to bed.
