Anna

I’ve been swimming for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent endless hours at my local pool, learning the strokes, diving and doing my survival training. Through my teens and 20s, whenever I was on holiday, I’d be the first person in the pool or the sea.

Then, in 2010, I took part in my first open-water event in the London Docks, and I was hooked.

Since then, alongside a corporate career in Music, Entertainment and Telecoms, I’ve become a swimming teacher and coach, working with both pool and open-water swimmers. I’ve also taken on many open-water endurance challenges, including several marathon swims, a 27km two-person end to end relay of Lake Zurich, and a solo one-way swim of Windermere. I’m currently working towards an English Channel crossing with three friends.

My approach to teaching and coaching is simple - I want to help people build confidence in the water and develop their skills. Above all, I want to help people enjoy what they’re doing. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone become more confident and comfortable in the water.
