What are Goggles
Swimming goggles are an essential piece of kit for children as it protects their eyes from stinging chlorine and any potential bacteria. Goggles are a great way to encourage them to put their head underwater which builds their confidence and their swimming ability.
Toddler Goggles
Toddler goggles are suitable for children between the ages 2 and 6 years old. Comfort and a good seal is the main priority when choosing goggles for your child. You don’t want them to let in any water or be uncomfortable because this could make your child uncomfortable during their lesson. There are so many on the market now that have a range of features – different colours, characters and shapes to encourage the kids to wear them. Take a look at the goggles we’ve suggested below which have easy straps for loosening/tightening which save both time for parents and swim coaches when helping the children with their goggles.
Junior Goggles
Junior goggles are suitable for children aged 6-14 years old. Junior goggles can include a variety of styles including racer, masks as well as the different colours. Mask goggles are great for children as they give a great seal and a wider range of vision so that they see more underwater. Racer goggles are great for older children getting into competitive swimming.
