Swimming Lessons for babies

Benefits of Swimming Lessons for Babies

Enrolling your baby in our baby swimming program provides numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits. Here are five key advantages:

  • Builds Confidence: Introducing babies to water at a young age helps foster a positive connection with water that can last a lifetime.

  • Improves Physical Health: Swimming can help improve your baby's physical health by encouraging muscle development and cardiovascular fitness.

  • Parent-Baby Bond: Participating in shared swimming lessons with your baby can deepen emotional bonds and build trust.

  • Skills Development: Starting lessons at three months helps establish the foundations for your child's skill development as they grow.

  • Safety Awareness: Starting early helps teach your child water safety and boosts their confidence in the water.

FAQs

01

Is three months too early to start Swimming lessons?

Absolutely not, three months is the ideal age to start, with leading organisations such as Swim England and STA supporting parent-baby classes from early infancy in heated pools like those used by Swim Generation.

02

Are parents involved in the lesson?

Parents are actively involved in the lesson, guided by our expert coaches. Parental involvement also helps reassure your child.

03

What if I have little swimming experience?

Many of our parents have little to no swimming experience; lessons are held in a shallow, warm, and luxurious pool.

04

My child is scared of water.

Many babies are scared of water, and this is completely normal and a good reason to join this program. Swim Generation has helped many babies overcome their fear of water and become strong, confident swimmers.
