Teaching Approach: Our adult classes are all private 1:1. The class is tailored around what the swimmer wants to achieve, what work needs to be done and what their individual goals are. We teach all levels from beginners right the way up to competent and confident swimmers. Many of our swimmers come to Swim Generation to overcome a lifelong fear. Within a short amount of time, they overcome their fears and find a true passion for swimming, an improvement to their health and a newfound confidence. We have other swimmers who are training for triathlons and want to improve their endurance. With a personable and professional approach, our coaches are ready for any challenge.

Below are some tips and items that might be helpful during your swimming sessions and assist you in making the most of each lesson.
Keep hydrated & nutrition: While swimming, your body will lose fluids, so ensure you drink water before and during the lesson. Swimming also requires a lot of energy, so be sure to eat a light snack at least an hour beforehand.
Correct gear: You want to feel comfortable while swimming. Swimming hats are compulsory for adults. You will need a towel; we also recommend goggles, flip-flops and post-swim clothing.
Shower before: This helps keep the water clean for other swimmers and also helps your body to adjust. Some pools require showering before entering.
Consistency is key: Like any sport, consistent practice helps develop skills and build confidence.
